Media wall installation in Dubai
Overview
A media wall turns the TV area into a finished part of the room instead of a screen with cables hanging under it. It usually combines a built-out wall, a recess or panel for the TV, shelves or cabinets, and lighting that sets the mood in the evening.
Because a media wall is partly building work and partly electrical work, the planning matters. Sockets, data and HDMI points, the TV bracket fixing and the lighting all need to be in the right place before the wall is closed up.
We help you plan the layout, build the wall neatly and finish it properly, with cables hidden and every connection accessible for the future.
Common problems
The usual fix is a power point and cable route behind the TV. On a media wall, this is planned into the frame so the cables run inside the wall and the screen looks clean.
TVs, receivers, consoles and routers need several points. We look at the existing circuit and add the sockets you need where the wiring and the building allow.
A gypsum wall alone is not a safe fixing for a large TV. We add timber or metal reinforcement at the bracket position so the weight is carried properly.
This often comes from a cheap or undersized driver, or strips fitted without a channel to keep them cool. We use proper drivers and aluminium channels where needed.
How we work
A media wall is on show every day, so uneven joints, visible cables or a lighting strip that flickers are hard to ignore. Most of the quality is in the planning: getting the power and the fixings right before the wall is closed means you will not need to open it up again later.
We discuss how you use the room, your TV size and any equipment, and agree a layout with you.
Power, data and lighting points are positioned and run before the wall is boarded.
The frame is built straight and level, with reinforcement where the TV will be fixed.
Joints are finished cleanly, lighting is tested, and the area is cleaned before we leave.

Yes. On a media wall the cables run in conduit inside the frame. On an existing solid wall it depends on the wall construction, and we will tell you what is practical after seeing it.
Yes, when the fixing point is reinforced. We plan the bracket position into the frame so the TV is fixed into solid support, not just gypsum board.
In most cases, yes. It depends on the existing circuit and any building rules. We check this before giving a quote.
Some buildings ask for approval before any internal works. Please check with your building management. We can share the details of the planned work if they need them.
