Wall panelling installation in Dubai
Overview
Wall panelling adds texture and warmth to a room and can protect walls in busy areas like corridors and entrances. It is one of the most popular ways to upgrade a living room, bedroom or office without major building work.
There are many styles, from vertical slat and fluted panels to classic shaker-style panelling and wood-effect finishes. Each needs a level, properly fixed base, accurate cutting and clean joints to look right.
We fit panelling carefully around sockets, switches and corners, so the finished wall looks like part of the room rather than something added on top.
Common problems
This usually means the wall was not level or the panels were not set out properly. We check the wall first and set out the layout so the joints line up and the end panels are not thin slivers.
Panelling adds depth to the wall, so sockets and switches often need to be brought forward or moved. As electricians, we can handle that as part of the job.
Usually the result of the wrong adhesive or fixings, or a weak surface underneath. Panels need to be fixed to suit both the panel and the wall.
Half-height panelling or a single feature wall can give much of the effect for a smaller area. We can suggest options to suit your budget.
How we work
Panelling repeats a pattern across the whole wall, so small errors become obvious. A panel that is slightly off level or a joint that does not line up is noticed every time you look at the wall. Careful setting out is what makes panelling look high-end.
We agree the panel style and set out the layout with you before cutting anything.
The wall is checked, prepared and protected, and sockets or switches are adjusted if needed.
Panels are fixed level and plumb with clean, consistent joints.
Edges are finished, the work is checked in the room's light, and the area is cleaned.
